This HI-Limit 140-6 Deg. C is for use on Amerec’s Sauna Heaters.
- 03/20/14: To adjust the Trip Temperature: With the heater on its side so that when fitted, the screwdriver tip is facing you - Counterclockwise = a lower trip temperature and Clockwise = a higher trip temperature
- 6/24/16: What causes tripping is restricted air flow causing the heater to overheat and shut down on emergency hi limit temp. Make sure sauna room vents are open. Remove rocks, throw away small broken ones, rearrange large ones (you may need to buy more rocks for this process). Member tampering with temp sensor.
The HI-Limit 140-6 Deg. C is a safety device that will shut the heater off if the inner cabinet temperature gets too hot.
